This guy is a keyboarding genius... Check him out on youtube... his tunes aint bad either! My personal favourite is the Rocky Song Remixed which is simply awesome. The album is maybe a little rough production wise and the rap tunes aren't all that, but the bulk of instrumentals are pretty good. Plus he looks well funny innit.... and you have to love the artwork!

Chase & Status - More Than Alot

Top quality Drum 'n' Bass, 'Pieces' reminds me of Pendulum a bit and is quality (thanks to Teena for finding the EP in the first place), but its not all like that, 'Against All Odds' is a great Hip-Hop track. 'Smash TV' and 'Eastern Jam' are neighbourhood breakers, absolutely massive.

"A Mind Of My Own" is a soulful hip-hop masterpiece featuring guest spots by members of festival favourites TZU, THE CAT EMPIRE, BLUE KING BROWN and rising Oz rap talent / fellow SOULMATE artist, 360. Entirely produced by Melbourne hip-hop's best-kept secret MATIK, whose warm, textured soundscapes provide the perfect musical bed for Pez's contagious flows and heartfelt lyrics.

Parov Stelar - Libella Swing

Track List

01. Hotel Axos
02. Homesick (Club Version)
03. Libella Swing
04. Blind Alley featSax Max & Lylit
05. Blind Alley feat. Sax Max & Lylit (Late Night Version)

The latest offering from Parov.... certainly up beat, it's almost dance, but crucially it's infectiously smooth and jazzy as per.  It's everything you'd expect from another Parov release bearing in mind the last gem of "The Flame Of Fame - EP" which was in a similar style.  I think we'll all know the track "Homesick" (even if it is the "Club" version) but all the others are newbs.  Standout for me would be "Hotel Axos" with an insanely catchy trumpet riff.  Not too shabby at all.

Saltillo - Ganglion

Track List

01. A Necessary End
02. Giving In
03. Remember Me?
04. A Simple Test
05. A Hair on the Head of John the Baptist
06. Blood and Milk
07. The Opening
08. Backyard Pond
09. Grafting
10. Praise
11. I’m on the Wrong Side
12. 002 F#m

This is really good....  Nuff Said!! (well almost) it's mostly downtempo but strangely has an almost DJ Shadow-esque feel to it.  So far I'm lovin it!  Has huge influences from Classical Music and Trip-Hop.  Some large beats tho even if they are on the slower tempo.  Standout's include: Praise, Grafting, Blood & Milk, Remember Me, Giving In (feat Sarah Matthews) & A Necessary End (Feat Sarah Matthews).  Quite a few cherries to be picked from this musical bush!!!  It's Chilled and Chilling....  Enjoy.

And the artwork is also choice...

Linkin Park - Session

Wow, never thought I would recommend anything of Linkin Park's! However whilst watchin The Soprano's I heard this quality tune and found out its off this album. Its totally different to all the normal LP sounding stuff, with hints of Shadow, Blockhead, or Deceptikon. It's by a DJ called Mr Hahn, more to come I suspect! I love it.

A little bit out there, with a whole host of Genres going on here. Interesting however, with 'Yep!' and 'The Fall' catching my attention. Not all good, in fact some are quite annoying but worth a look if you have the time.

If you have even more time, this blog has posted their discography and no doubt there are gems in there if your prepared to look. If so give us the nod innit.

The latest album from DJ Cam. It reminds me more of his 'Liquid Hip-Hop' album more than anything else I've heard of his. It's a great blend of Electronic and Hip-Hop sounds with some jazz influence too.

Blackalicious - Blazing Arrow Instrumentals

Surely everyone is familiar with this gem of an album. For those that are, here are the instrumentals, which if nothing else should manage to slip into a 'chill' category rather than hip-hop. Whilst we love the normal lyrical gymnastics on offer from Blackalicious, the instrumentals provide a sample of more relaxed listening.
